Job Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, be highly motivated and exhibit excellent communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the packing process, overseeing a team of up to 8 staff members.
  • Implement efficient processes such as banana bread slicing and prepacking products for night dispatch.
  • Develop and allocate workloads to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Manage packing materials, box folding and ensure effective inventory management.
  • Pallet wrapping and labelling procedures.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of food handling protocols and adherence to good food handling practices.
  • Empathy towards food products due to their potential fragility or special handling requirements.
  • Strong organisational and process management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments.
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Good numeracy skills and prior experience as a team leader.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional work in freezers for short periods (up to 30 minutes).
  • Strict adherence to OH&S protocols.
