Role Overview

This is a strategic safety leadership position responsible for providing operational support to the business across multiple branches.

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to build capability through coaching and supporting leaders in safety processes and systems as well as operational processes.

  • Support the delivery of business safety goals and develop strategies to improve performance.
  • Evaluate performance and maintain compliance with safety management systems.
  • Facilitate implementation of compliance with environmental management systems.
  • Conduct site visits, risk management, incident investigation, and manage incident reporting.
  • Assist with business planning and alignment with regional safety plans.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in occupational health and safety (OH&S) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous industry experience in manufacturing, scrap metal, mining, heavy engineering, transport, logistics.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Certification in training and assessing desirable.
  • Experience in Cority software desirable.
