High-Quality Software Developer
Our organization is seeking an experienced High-Quality Software Developer to join our engineering team. This role requires a professional with strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Deploy Features:
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software features that meet customer needs and stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with engineers, architects, product managers, and designers to ensure successful project delivery.
Review and Mentor Code:
Collaborate with colleagues to review code and provide feedback on best practices for readability, testing patterns, documentation, reliability, security, and performance considerations.
Share Expertise:
Share your expertise through formal and informal knowledge-sharing sessions to help level up the skills of your teammates.
Implement Visibility and Error Reporting:
Develop full visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performing backend services.
Participate in Agile Development:
Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and demo sessions to drive software development excellence.
Requirements:
Experience:
7+ years of experience building and developing backend applications.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, Python) and fluency in database technologies (e.g., RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra).
Cultural Fit:
Strong passion for collaboration and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a broad knowledge and understanding of the software industry and hands-on experience with cloud offerings.
