**Facilitate prisoner transition through pre-release, post-release and transitional programs**

**Position Overview**

The Assessment & Transition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in assisting Corrections Victoria with the implementation of an Integrated Risk Assessment and Management Framework for the parole system. This position focuses on enhancing community safety through a robust transition process for prisoners re-entering society.
- Tertiary qualification in human services, welfare practice, education, or related field
- Experience working with hard-to-engage clients
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders effectively
- Proven problem-solving capabilities in operational contexts
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Experience working within a legislative framework related to corrections
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting

This role requires a commitment to fostering positive relationships with prisoners, staff, and external stakeholders while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. A satisfactory security and police clearance will be necessary for this position.

**Company Overview**

Fulham Correctional Centre is the largest privately managed prison facility in rural Victoria, located in Fulham. With a focus on rehabilitation and reintegration, the Centre manages a population of approximately 1049 male prisoners, including a dedicated youth program. Our mission is to provide offenders with the opportunity to engage in work, education, and transformative programs that address the root causes of criminal behavior.
