You'll oversee job allocation, coordinate repairs, support technicians, and ensure customer satisfaction remains high.Your Core Responsibilities:Leadership & Workflow ManagementLead a team of caravan techniciansSchedule jobs and manage repairs to meet quality and delivery targetsEnsure effective communication between trades, customers, and office staffWorkshop OperationsOversee a variety of repairs including insurance work, re-sheeting, 12V installations, accessories, water systems, and cabinetrySupport staff in diagnosing and resolving technical issuesManage sublet work, parts procurement, and supplier relationshipsMaintain clean, organised, and compliant workshopsCustomer CommunicationProvide accurate repair updates and timeframesLiaise with customers and insurers professionally and respectfullyHandle concerns or escalations with care and confidenceCompliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure OHS/WHS procedures are followedPerform final inspections to uphold quality standardsPromote safe work practices and lead by exampleWho You AreMust-Have AttributesPrevious experience in caravan, automotive, or mechanical repairsStrong team leadership and organisational skillsHands-on problem solver with a mechanical mindsetConfident communicator—able to lead teams and reassure customersComputer-literate and comfortable with workshop systemsTrade background in auto, mechanical, cabinetry, or electrical fieldsKnowledge of plumbing, 12V systems, or RV accessoriesForklift licence (or willingness to obtain)Welding or fabrication experienceExposure to iBody or other job tracking platformsBe part of a locally respected business with national scaleEnjoy the stability of a full-time role with family-friendly hours (Mon–Fri)Career growth pathways into regional or national leadership rolesCompetitive pay based on skills and qualificationsA culture that values honesty, self-confidence, and initiativeWork With Purpose.
