Azure API Specialist: Architect and Integrator
Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure API specialist to lead our team in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and efficient APIs.
This role requires a solid foundation in API lifecycle management, cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and DevOps methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure API Management (APIM) and experience with API gateway technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Azure API Management policies, developer portals, and API lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable API integrations.
Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Monitor and troubleshoot API performance using Azure monitoring tools.
Requirements:
5–6 years of experience in API gateway technologies and 2–4 years of hands-on expertise in Azure API Management (APIM).
Solid foundation in API lifecycle management, cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and DevOps methodologies.
Proficiency in RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API key management.
Experience with Azure Key Vault and RBAC.
