Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Azure API specialist to spearhead our cloud-based API initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable APIs on the Azure platform.
Key Responsibilities:
API Governance
: Develop and enforce API standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
Architecture and Design
: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy robust, secure, and scalable APIs using Azure API Management.
Integration and Automation
: Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure seamless integration and reduced downtime.
Monitoring and Performance
: Utilize Azure monitoring tools to troubleshoot and optimize API performance, ensuring high uptime and responsiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Cloud Computing & API Management:
Azure API Management
: Experience with designing, implementing, and managing APIs on the Azure platform.
RESTful API Design
: Proficiency in designing and documenting RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
Security & Compliance:
OAuth2 & JWT
: Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and API key management principles.
Azure Key Vault & RBAC
: Experience with securing sensitive data using Azure Key Vault and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
DevOps & Automation:
CI/CD Pipelines
: Experience with automating deployment processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Scripting Languages
: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Azure Monitor & Application Insights
: Familiarity with utilizing Azure Monitor and Application Insights for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
