**Role**:
The Compliance Manager is responsible for HIVE's overall compliance as an RTO and the management of its compliance framework to ensure adherence towards Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and Victoria Skills First Funding requirements. The Compliance Manager will work closely with the CEO and management team to provide guidance and strategic approach to minimise compliance risk.

**Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and its regulatory requirements.
- Always monitor the RTO's compliance with the VET Quality Framework and Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO's) 2015.
- Manage and maintain the RTO's scope of registration under the guidance of CEO.
- Compliance Manager is required to communicate with entire HIVE team members on RTO related compliance issues and concerns and implement any changes as approved by CEO*.
- Compliance Manager will be responsible to work closely with external and internal resource developers and will also manage as well as check the compliance of developed resources for training programs as per HIVE and its learner's requirements.
- The position also required to work with Training Manager to maintain trainer qualification and compliance register by ensuring all trainers and assessors hold and maintain currency in relevant qualifications and units of competencies.
- To develop, review, and maintain RTO's relevant policies and procedures.
- Compliance Manager must create and implement a set of standards and procedures to ensure that the HIVE is efficient and effective in identifying, preventing, and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Work with sales and marketing team to prepare strategies to maintain and grow income from HIVE training programs.
- Actively interact with RTO's regulators and funding bodies on compliance updates and any related issues.
- Identify areas for improvements within the existing RTO's processes including Policies, Procedures, and methods for smooth and compliant business operations.
- Proactively identify potential vulnerabilities and address this head-on with corrective measures. Also, provide proper guidance on how team members and the company can avoid similar situations in the future.
- Provide reports and updates to the CEO as requested.
- Additional reasonable tasks assigned by the CEO.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in education and training and/or management preferred

**Experience Required**:

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a compliance or quality assurance role in an RTO is essential
- Experience sitting in a recent ASQA audit with a compliant outcome
- Experience in using an RTO Learner management system (Wisenet preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of the current RTO standards
- High-level attention to detail
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Independent research skills
- High level of integrity and strong moral principles

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 38 per week
