Weekend work and overtime may be required on occasion.Location: Slade Health, Woodville SAThe OpportunityPermanent full-time Quality Pharmacist position in our newly opened compounding facility in Woodville Adelaide.
Responsibilities include preparation and compounding of oncology treatments, quality control, and collaboration with Operations and Quality teams.This is a permanent full-time role with a minimum of 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend work on occasion.
Shift hours typically fall between 6:00am and 10:00pm.Key ResponsibilitiesReleasing all finished products (including oncology, antibiotics, TPN & LAF)Ensure all products are compounded according to product specifications and documentation to achieve required qualityEnsure adherence to all quality management systems and proceduresAssist in preparation of new Quality Documents and revision/update of existing documentsEvaluate and manage product non-conformances and escalate to quality management as neededReport incidents, deviations and complaints in the QMS in a timely mannerAbout YouA pharmacist with a tertiary qualification in PharmacyCurrent AHPRA registration as Pharmacist in AustraliaHospital or oncology experience is not required as training will be providedTeam-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional service and patient careHigh attention to detail and a commitment to building clinical skills and knowledgeStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage workload with good communication to liaise with a wide range of health professionalsNote: Hospital or oncology experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
