Key Responsibilities:
- Service Development:
- Design and implement new pharmacy services, such as vaccination programs, wellness clinics, medication adherence programs, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams and healthcare providers to identify service gaps and develop tailored solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to introduce innovative offerings.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote new and existing services to patients and the community.
- Create educational materials and campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of services.
- Engage with local healthcare providers and community organizations to build partnerships and referral networks.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish KPIs to monitor the success and growth of pharmacy services.
- Analyse data to evaluate service utilisation, patient outcomes, and financial performance.
- Generate regular reports and present findings to management with actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Service Optimisation:
- Oversee the rollout of services across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
- Train pharmacy staff on delivering and supporting new services effectively.
- Continuously monitor and refine services based on feedback, outcomes, and market demands.
- Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure all services comply with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all services offered.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and on a pathway toward Doctor of Pharmacy.
- General Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA.
- 3 years of experience in pharmacy operations, clinical services, or service development.
- Proven experience in developing and promoting healthcare services.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and patient care standards.
Skills and Attributes:
We are looking for a candidate who is a creative thinker with a strong focus on both business and patient care. The ideal person will have excellent communication and marketing skills, the ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable strategies, and strong organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency in pharmacy management software is also essential.
Travel Requirements:
- Regular travel to pharmacy locations for on-site training, service implementation, and performance monitoring.
