Position: Room Leader (Responsible Person)Status: Full-time permanentSalary range: $36.80 per hour + $3.55 per hour (remote allowance) + additional allowances and superannuationQualifications: Diploma in early childhood or ACECQA approved equivalentCentre name: One Tree Wadeye Children and Family CentreLocation: Wadeye, Northern Territory 0822 On Offer to you: Full-time permanent position Above award salary – $3.55 extra per hour 4 weeks' annual leave plus 2 weeks off over the festive season Relocation allowance up to $3,000 Free shared accommodation Free quarterly flights from Wadeye to Darwin Subsidised childcare Uniforms provided Career advancement Rewards for every year you spend at One Tree, including extra annual leave, and more Online inductions & PD sessions Employee Assistance Program available for you and your immediate family members Selection criteria Minimum one (1) year's experience in a room leader role or above Experience in working in a remote community Strong knowledge of child development and theories relating to children's learning Communication skills and ability to lead a team Evidence of having contributed to assessment and rating at meeting or exceeding level Develop and evaluate high quality programs for children in line with recognised frameworks Ability to advocate for children's rights and role model positive relationships with children Requirements Eligible to work in Australia and willing to relocate to Wadeye, NT Diploma in Early Childhood/ACECQA approved equivalent Current NT Ochre card (Working with Children Check) Satisfactory National Police Clearance Current First Aid and CPR
