The Crane Operator positon is working on the Client's Bayu-Undan offshore facilities project.We have a rewarding opportunity for Crane Operators 60ft to join the Bayu Undan Project Team in Timor Leste on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation with flexibility for overlap work.
Possible early mobilisation to cover offshore training competencies.As a Crane Operator you will ensure all platform lifts and boat operations are completed in a safe manner and in line with the Crane Operators Competence systems, and to the satisfaction of the company/client.This is a casual role reporting to the Contract Coordinator.ResponsibilitiesOperate cranes to the specific requirements of the manufacturer's recommendationsPlatform lifts, load and unloading of supply boatsCheck the weight and size of the load to be lifted; ensure crane is working within recommended load radiusPerform parking and shutdown duties as per site requirementsCarry out daily routine checks on the crane in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance procedures and site-specific prestart checklistComplete routine first line maintenance duties including but limited to greasing, lubrication and machinery maintenance in accordance with relevant manufactures recommendationsMaintain cranes in a clean, tidy and where applicable, watertight condition, including cabs, machinery housings and external surfacesAssist maintenance personnel in routine maintenance and repair activities and general deck duties.Essential competenciesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsGood analytical and organisational skillsBe proactive and value-orientatedDemonstrated initiative in fast paced work environmentEfficiently work independently and within a team.Qualifications and skillsAppropriate crane qualification for workscopeOffshore Crane Operation certificateProven knowledge of lifting and rigging regulations and statutory requirementsCompetent in performing crane maintenance to manufacturer's and Australian standardsSafe Working at HeightsCertificate of Competency in DoggingCurrent T/BOSIETMinimum 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas, construction and/or maintenance industryHeli Landing Officer certificate (desirable)We offerCompetitive salary rates3/3 rosterExcellent experience on our facilityReputable company with global parent partnering.Successful candidates will undergo medical and background check, and provide certificates and tickets for verification of competencyIf you're an experienced Crane Operator looking to work offshore, apply now to this great opportunity
