**The Position**

**Position Title**: Casual Disability Liaison Officer
**Classification**: Dependant on Qualification
**Salary per hour (exc. super)**: Dependant on Qualification _plus 25% casual loading_
**Employment Status**: Casual
**Other requirements**: COVID-19 Vaccination

**Role Description**

This positon support people with disability to access other non-COVID-19-related treatment and services which may have been impeded by the current health emergency. Additionally, it will supports improved access to COVID-19 assessment, treatment and vaccination services for people with disability who may experience barriers due to fear, uncertainty and issues with accessibility.

This position will cover the Bendigo, Loddon. Mt. Alexander and Macedon area. The role is located on the main Bendigo Hospital campus but can cover other areas across Bendigo Health.

**The Team**

The Community and Public Health Services Division has a primary focus on improving the health outcomes of the communities in our region. With a range of local and regional programs supporting place-based health promotion, prevention, care and support, they work collaboratively with other Divisions and regional partnerships and networks to support quality outcomes. The Division has a strong leadership role in the Loddon Mallee Region and is committed to ensuring processes are in place to deliver on our Division.
