Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator (Ft)

Based in our new production facility in Jandakot, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and carrying out maintenance activities within a Distribution Centre and ensuring that safety, sanitation, and reliability standards are achieved. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this hands-on role will see you perform and oversee the technical tasks related to the engineering, installation, and maintenance of production equipment, warehouse infrastructure, and facilities.

**You will**:

- Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, including refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, security, general repairs, and other assets in the distribution center
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues, including repair and replacement of assets to minimize production downtime
- Source and manage spare parts, consumables, tools, and other related maintenance equipment needed to ensure assets are in good working order
- Coordinate with Project Managers and site stakeholders to plan, install, commission, and maintain production equipment in the distribution center
- Manage contractors and suppliers; define the scope of work, oversee tasks, and ensure completion of deliverables
- Promptly & communicate all safety-related issues and concerns
- Support equipment and facilities upgrades required to improve safety, quality, and productivity

**You have**:

- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Electrical, mechanical, and maintenance-related certifications are highly desirable
- Facilities management is highly desirable
- Knowledge of trades related to site facilities, repair, and overhaul
- Availability to work weekend schedules and cold facilities
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets), and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet)
