Job Overview

The Maintenance Coordinator develops, plans and coordinates operation and maintenance activities for Gas Generation plant and facilities at a major power station site.

This role involves managing tender and quote processes, supervising/coordinating activities, implementing maintenance strategies and reviewing plant reliability performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise/coordinate activities associated with manufacture, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance/repair of equipment and systems on all branch assets.
  • Organize maintenance outage projects according to quality standards.
  • Implement and manage maintenance and operational strategies, processes and instructions for all branch assets.
  • Assist in auditing operation and maintenance service providers for compliance with contracted obligations.
  • Review and report on plant reliability performance and make improvement recommendations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A trade certificate in the relevant discipline or technical qualification.
  • A Drivers Licence - Class C.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in operation and maintenance of electricity generation plant and facilities or relevant industry.
  • Expertise in maintenance management, planning/scheduling and contracting techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental management legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems.
