The Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS) is responsible for delivering sexual assault and domestic violence services across ISLHD, leadership and capacity building within these portfolios and within ISLHD Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) service system.
DFV&SAS Counsellors provide high quality, culturally competent, trauma-informed therapeutic counselling and support services to:
people who have experienced sexual abuse (ie. their non-offending family members and adults)
Responsibilities
Provide high quality, culturally competent, trauma-informed therapeutic counselling and support services to clients affected by sexual assault and domestic violence.
