Team Leader - Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Service
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Senior Psychologist or Social Worker to lead our team providing support to individuals impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong team culture, providing clinical guidance and oversight, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of counsellors in the provision of timely, effective and high quality therapeutic services.
- Provide clinical and line management oversight and guidance to DFVSAS Counsellors.
- Hold a small clinical caseload.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and service delivery.

Requirements:
- A degree in social work or psychology and full AHPRA registration or eligible for AASW Membership.
- Extensive direct clinical experience (post graduate Social Work / Psychology) conducting psychosocial assessments, therapeutic counselling, risk assessment and safety planning, advocacy, psychoeducation, report writing, group work and court support with people who have experienced trauma, namely sexual assault and/or family and domestic violence.
- Ability to provide clinical and line management oversight and guidance to DFVSAS Counsellors in the provision of timely, effective and high quality therapeutic services.
