We are looking for a proactive and skilled Business Partner - Finance to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable insights and analysis to support business objectives and ensure financial success. You will act as a trusted advisor to various departments, helping them navigate financial performance, drive efficiencies, and manage risks.

**Key responsibilities include**:
**Month-End Close & Reporting**: Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes, including sales and inventory reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and financial analysis.

**Financial Statements**: Prepare and review financial statements for the C&A business, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

**Balance Sheet Integrity**: Perform balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.

**Sales & Accounts Reconciliation**: Prepare internal sales reconciliations to support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams in clearing customer and vendor accounts.

**Financial & Management Reporting**: Prepare monthly financial dashboards, sales, inventory and other ad hoc management reports.

**Budgeting & Forecasting**: Preparing budget and forecasts in collaboration with the business and other Business Partners.

**Europe Reporting**: Assist in preparing monthly Management and Financial packs for overseas partner.

**Fringe Benefit Tax**: Prepare annual FBT for motor vehicles, including collection and review of declarations and logbooks.

**Corporate Finance Support**: Assist the Corporate Finance team with half year and year end reporting requirements.

**Audit & Compliance**: Support both internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation.

**What you will need to succeed**
- People Leadership skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised, while also able to work within a team environment
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications, or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified accounting professional or working towards.
- 4-5 years of financial accounting experience.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP preferred, not essential.
