Job Title: Business Partner

The role of a Business Partner is crucial in fostering effective people management within an organisation. In this capacity, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and coaching on various aspects of employee relations, performance management, workplace culture, policy interpretation, and application.

  • You will conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolution to complex HR-related issues.
  • Additionally, you will coach leaders in strategies and processes for effective people management, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments.

As a key member of the HR team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating as a Specialist Project Team Member on allocated projects, contributing your expertise in people planning and delivery aspects of organisational change initiatives.
  • Proactively analysing and reporting on people metrics, identifying trends and areas for action to drive business growth.
  • Collaborating with leaders to navigate the complexities of organisational change, providing expert guidance on effective people management practices.

To excel in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Significant demonstrated experience in high-volume/fast-paced HRBP positions within aged care, healthcare, FMCG, or related 24/7 operational environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working with unions on people matters, including employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment legislation, regulations & Enterprise Agreements.
  • Advanced coaching, influencing & communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with volume ER & IR related matters.
  • A current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check.
