At Think HQ, we use inclusive communications to tackle complex social challenges and promote for-purpose projects.

We're looking for an excellent human to create social media content and work on social media projects as a member of our Content and Social team, which sits within the larger Creative team.

Social media is one of the key places where people share opinions, gain information, and make up their minds. We need someone to help us create and implement social content strategies that will inform those conversations, to help us and our clients create positive social outcomes.

**About you**

Other things we're looking for include:

- Tertiary qualifications in communications or related field, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the social media landscape and communications in Australia, including the political and social contexts
- Comfortable working as a team while being self-directed
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks and meet set deadlines
- Comfortable working across multiple projects with various teams
- Experience in paid social or digital implementation, and/or using Adobe Creative Suite to design and produce content - not critical but will be considered a big bonus.

**Responsibilities**:
As Social Media Coordinator, your average day will involve:

- Creating and managing content for earned and owned social channels, including copywriting, briefing designers and other creative producers, creating and editing content in platform, managing content calendars, scheduling and posting
- Ideating, pitching and creating engaging content that's impactful and suited to the platform
- Advising on metrics for success and report on results
- Managing social media communities, including monitoring, responding, engaging, and growing audiences
- Managing social media accounts, including liaising with clients on deliverables and timelines
- Advising on social media content and planning for projects and clients
- Working closely and collaboratively with team members in various departments, including PR, CultureVerse (our multicultural communications arm), Client Service, Strategy & Research, and the wider Creative team
- Contributing to the management and execution of projects across the Content and Social team as appropriate.
