This is a rare opportunity to work with a brand that believes style and sustainability come hand in hand, and with a social media reach of over 1.2million, our organic social media channels are some of the most important and impactful storytelling channels within the Country Road marketing ecosystem. Reporting to the Social Media Specialist and working alongside a crew of in-house creatives, copywriters, PR, sustainability, and community partnership teams, the Social Media Coordinator will be instrumental in maintaining the Country Road Social Media Channels. This is an exciting opportunity to assist with the execution of engaging content covering fashion, lifestyle, community impact, sustainability, purpose-led partnerships, brand messages and more.
Key responsibilities

- Guided by the overall strategy, you will assist the Social Media Specialist and content team in ideating and creating content that brings our brand storytelling to life. Your data and insights will be key in identifying areas of opportunity each month, focusing on pillars of Fashion, Lifestyle, and Community Partnerships.
- From there you will assist in maintaining a year-round organic social calendar highlighting key messages relevant to each organic channel.
- Assist in organic social reporting, communicating insights to the broader team on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist in providing wider marketing and content teams with ongoing analysis, social listening insights, and recommendations to optimise the performance of organic social channels.
- Research and implement new platforms and tools to drive digital innovation that meets business objectives, improves efficiencies, and/or reaches new audiences.
- Keep abreast of platform updates, algorithmic changes and best practices.
- Keep up to date with the world of social media and digital innovations by reading blogs, websites, and newsletters - sharing knowledge across the business.
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively
- experience managing business organic social media channels such as Tiktok Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- A deep understanding of social media marketing tools and constantly look at new and emerging features across all organic social platforms.
- A creative at heart, you are a natural problem solver who loves to pitch, test, learn and respond to new social initiatives backed by data and insights.
- Understanding of social media measurement and metrics.
- Experience in content ideation and creation, including video editing
- Exceptional organisation skills to handle multiple channels and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Competent in using Sprout (or equivalent social media platform), Facebook Brand Manager and Google Analytics.
- Experience using Social Commerce is preferred but not essential.
Why work for us?
- An authentic, collaborative, high performing team culture. Be part of a team that recognises a job well done.
- Hybrid working arrangements.
- The opportunity to be involved in our Corporate Social Responsibility program, by supporting our community partnerships.
- Bi-annual product allowances and generous discounts for you and your immediate family on all Country Road, Trenery, Witchery and Mimco products. Further offers and discounts are available at David Jones.
- Birthday rostered day off.
- Excellent career progression involving regular training and on the job development.
