Road Workers required for major road works projects across the Gundagai area, working with a NSW Government Agency who are leaders in the development of safe, integrated and efficient transport systems for NSW.

The primary function of this role will be to assist with the road maintenance and construction projects. Experience working in a manual labouring role within the civil industry is required.

Job Title: Road Worker

Location: Gundagai

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 6 months (Potential for Extension)

Pay Rate: $38.45 per hour plus Superannuation and applicable penalty allowances

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.5hrs per day - 9 day fortnight
- OH&S Card (White Card)
- Worker on Foot Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
- Current drivers licence - MR would be advantageous
- Traffic Control tickets (or willingness to obtain)
- Safety focused - working in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment

Extra skills in the following are desirable but not essential:

- Civil experience: pipe laying, machine operating and spotting,
- Construction and maintenance of roads and associated assets
- Experience operating power tools
