APG is currently seeking experienced Road Workers for a 6-month contract within a Government Sector based at Gundagai.

**Pay Rate: $39.43 per hour excluding Super + Overtime + Travel Allowance**

**Job Details**
You will undertake a range of duties to support the efficient construction and maintenance of road infrastructure within Gundagai.

**including but not limited to**:

- The workers will be working from Gundagai Depot so they would be required to live within 50 km radius of Gundagai (if possible) and be available to attend call outs 24 hours a day.
- maintenance of established pavements
- construction of new or enhanced pavements
- establishment and maintenance of roadside fixtures and signage
- establishment and maintenance of traffic signals and driver aid devices
- Vegetation management including brush cutting, removing trees and trimming branches.
- Litter removal and clean-up of the road corridor.
- Incident response and removal of immediate hazards to road users.
- Graffiti removal from transport structures.
- Cleaning drainage structurer

**Requirements & Required Licenses / Tickets**:

- White card essential
- Traffic Control Ticker
- Car License
- Workers on Foot (willing to obtain, online course)
- 2 x reference checks from past employers
- Fit & healthy, ability to do manual handling and lifting
- Experience with the construction industry, labourers, concreters, steel fixers encouraged to apply.
