**The Company**

Our client, a much loved food business in Melbourne is seeking a passionate and high performing Brand Manager to join their marketing team and drive all related marketing activities. With a growth mindset and history in the better for you categories, this business offers premium products with the customer at the forefront.

Having recently undergone significant growth, they have a new role within their marketing team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager will be responsible for building on the brand strategy, executing strategic projects, P&L ownership and developing strong retailer relationships. Additional responsibilities will include:

- Build upon an existing brand plan offering strategic and data driven insights.
- Overall responsibility for the P&L and marketing spend.
- New Product Development contribution from a marketing perspective ensuring brand identity is in line.
- Develop unique and creative campaigns which speak to the customer.
- Use data insights to measure campaign results ensuring there are generating the optimum levels of engagement.
- Close collaboration with internal teams including sales, category and NPD to ensure an unforgettable customer experience.
- Partner with external agencies to capture the essence of the brand and develop strategic positioning with ATL/BTL activities.

**Your Background**
- Tertiary qualified, post-graduate preferred
- FMCG Brand Manager experience across food or beverage.
- Build strong relationships with retailers and wholesalers.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills with an ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience with marketing research, using insights & analytics in previous roles.
- A solid understanding of the innovation process.
- Experience in identifying opportunities and leading projects to increase brand awareness.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed and capable in working autonomously.
