**Onemda** We're looking for an experienced Allied Health Assistant based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.

**ABOUT US**
Onemda is a registered NDIS provider who are passionate about supporting adults with an intellectual disability in learning and life. For more than 50 years, we've been delivering a unique mix of learning and therapeutic services which support people to maximise their wellbeing, achieve their goals and reach their potential.

**WHAT THIS ROLE INVOLVES**
To provide the allied health team with clinical support to ensure a high level of service and to assist in the delivery of programs and services to participants. This may include clinic, community, school, workplace and onsite pool/gym based individual and group therapy intervention.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Assist the Onemda allied health team to deliver holistic, high quality services to families and participants
- Provide consistently high quality clinical support of participants allied health needs and deliver individualised treatment plans under the instruction of the treating therapist
- Support therapists to deliver goal driven intervention to maximise outcomes within available resources
- Support the development and delivery of individual and group water and land-based therapy programs under the direction of treating therapists
- Produce timely and professional case notes/reporting in line with professional competency standards and organisational frameworks and policies
- Assist with intake, referrals, bookings, billing and tracking of service delivery and contribute to the general smooth operation of the allied health department
- Support therapists with the development of training, visual, sensory and communication resources

**Eligibility**
- Allied health assistant Cert IV (or experience in an equivalent role)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Life Guard Certificate (preferred, willingness to complete)
- Current Drivers licence
- Experience working as an allied health assistant
- Demonstrated knowledge of varied allied health team professional roles

**Salary**: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Doncaster East VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
