We are currently looking for Male staff members to join our small support team in the Lake Haven area. The participant is a non verbal 18 year old young man living with ASD3 and multiple complex diagnosis.

The participant is currently staffed at 2:1 ratio throughout the day and 1:1 in the evenings. Support is provided in the participants own SIL style home with 24/7 staff.

The successful applicant will have:

- Willingness to provide personal care in a residential environment;
- Ability to relate to and work with people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties;
- Experience with complex behaviours and behaviours of concern
- Experience with epilepsy management (preferred but no required)
- Experience in supporting participants with restrictive practices.

Essential Requirements:

- A valid Working with Children Check
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current National Police Check (or be prepared to obtain one)
- A current First Aid & CPR certification (or be prepared to obtain one)
- Complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- A valid Driver's Licence
- 100 points of valid ID
- Valid working rights

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $42.00 - $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
