**The Role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of State Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

- Ensuring compliance of OHS procedures and practices in line with Victorian and Federal workplace safety Acts and Regulations.
- Managing training records and First Aid training, including organizing external providers and reviewing certifications.
- Work closely with the People & Culture team to manage and mitigate psychological safety risks.
- Lead investigation of accidents or incidents, identify causes, corrective actions and ensuring risk mitigations are put in place.
- Providing advice and support to department managers to ensure safety compliance including periodic workplace inspections, training delivery and any corrective actions that may arise from incident and risk reporting.

In order to be successful in this role, you will:

- Be passionate about healthy food.
- Have qualifications in WHS, with warehousing or logistics background preferred.
- Have a thorough understanding of Victorian OH&S regulations and Acts, including WorkCover.
- Ideally have Return to Work experience.
- Work well autonomously and in a team.
- Ideally have First Aid Qualification.
