**About the role**
The F&B Development and Optimisation Manager is a newly created role reporting to the Director of F&B Performance, and primarily accountable for supporting the F&B department in delivering a consistent and effective service model, enhancing the guest and operational experience to drive revenue. Your experience in hospitality will enable you effectively partner with leaders across the business and make timely recommendations to ensure the business is able to support forecasted revenues in a highly regulated and compliance driven environment.
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Coordinate and conduct all F&B training and development requirements, collaborating with the F&B leadership team to ensure team member training is prioritised
- Maintain a customer focus at all times, ensuring that guest service delivery is timely, effective, efficient and aligned with customer needs and corporate standards
- Compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, legal demands and professional and ethical standards, supported by reporting in line with regulatory obligations
- Establish Service Level Agreements (SLA) across the F&B portfolio aligned with our core vision and values
- Establish labour standards across the F&B portfolio aligned with business demands and SLAs
- Partner with business leads to identify opportunities to optimise business revenue streams
- Drive team member engagement with the F&B leadership team through the implementation of a reward and recognition program
- Ensure all relevant statutory approvals and government requirements are considered and completed as required
- Execute targeted strategies to create a culture of risk minimisation
**About you**
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to multi-task and deliver on project timelines
- Collaborative approach and drive to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and leaders across the business as well as appropriate regulatory bodies
- Excellent communicator, with ability to clearly convey ideas both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability lead and influence outcomes
- High attention to detail and ability to solve problems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Operational knowledge or experience within hospitality sector
