**The Principal Performance and Reporting Officer is responsible for managing a stringent annual governance schedule of Executive meetings within eHealth Queensland, the Department, and Hospital and Health Services state wide. This involves drafting, reviewing and coordinating papers for an executive audience, ensuring policy and best practice standards are adhered to, quality and integrity of information is maintained, and collaborating with senior leaders on a range of governance activities including risk, audit and finance.

Your key responsibilities

Provide direct, independent, consistent, and accurate timely advice to the Executive Director, Operations and Performance Branch, on operations and performance reporting matters, in consultation with the Office of the Executive Director.
Prepare high quality committee reports, papers and presentations for the Board of Management, Executive Leadership Team, Executive Management Team and other committees, on behalf of the division.
Lead the development, review and timely delivery of monthly performance and executive governance reporting which requires whole of divisional input and support eHealth Queensland and Queensland Health's strategic objectives.
Lead critical analysis, collation and presentation of data to support performance analysis and planning for the division.
Exceptional ability to build strong working relationships, influence and collaborate within and across teams developing networks internal and external to the organisation in order to meet expectations, improve performance and achieve overall exceptional results and outcomes.
Undertake research and analysis to support the delivery and reporting of business.
Participate in review of performance measures and performance measure definitions to ensure data is accurately presented, trends identified and recommendations for service improvements communicated.

Role fit

Demonstrated experience in providing sensitive, coordinated, confidential and complex support to Executive Management Leadership teams within large complex public sector
Demonstrated experience in leading staff and managing support functions for a division with a de-centralised business model for operational areas.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills including the ability to collaborate and communicate in multiple ways to achieve outcomes and resolve conflict
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong teams and policy networking skills.
Demonstrated experience working in complex organisations and within an operating environment characterised by the need to liaise with, engage and consult with a range of stakeholders in the achievement of outcomes.
Demonstrated experience working within a complex system or organisation with devolved accountabilities and responsibilities that require a detailed understanding of system leadership, risk management, and strategic direction-setting.
