Our client, a leading resources company who brings a global presence is currently seeking a Category Specialist to provide procurement advice and support to its key stakeholders in the category of Labour Hire.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing contractual support and procurement support to the business
- Deliver value by sourcing competitively
- Build strong supplier relationships
- Regular review of requirements
- Risk assessment
- Tender evaluation
- Negotiations
- Contract life cycle support across commercial and contractual areas

**About you**:

- Sound background in procurement and contracts management ideally within a mining environment
- Tender submissions and making recommendations to award
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Project management experience to time and budget
- Tertiary qualifications ion business or supply chain
- Post graduate qualification in Supply Chain/Procurement highly desirable
- Effect written and verbal communication skills
