**Insurance Consultant - Helpline**

**What can you expect?**

You will provide superior professional front-line support for all queries in relation to claims and underwriting for Mercer superannuation products, Mercer administered superannuation plans and Mercer administered insurance policies.

You will work closely with Case Managers, Administrators, Helpline Team Leaders, Client Service Managers and Administration Managers, as you will also act as a personalised contact point for members who have enquiries requiring ongoing investigation.

**We will count on you to**:

- Provide necessary information to resolve inquiries in relation to claims, underwriting or other insurance matters including proactive contact with members.
- Provide technical support, mentoring and training to other Specialist Consultants.
- Build effective, strong, and positive working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to identification of service enhancements and initiatives that improve member experiences and deliver efficiency.

- Excellent communication skill and interpersonal awareness with an ability to influence and negotiate
- Demonstrated experience dealing with the public on all levels
- Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
- Empathetic call handling skills and a passion to help others
- Resilient, empathetic, understanding and patient

**What makes you stand out?**
- RG146 compliant
- Previous experience within a similar role within Superannuation, Insurance, Finance & Banking industry
- ASFA or insurance qualification
