Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Australian Steel Markets** team as a **Construction Specialist** located in either **Braeside VIC or Mascot NSW**. You may be looking for a new challenge, or to get "off the tools", this opportunity will allow you to try something new whilst utilising your expertise.

Working across the east coast, utilising your building and construction background and technical skills, you will provide valuable technical advice and support to our sales team, our commercial building customers and their tradespeople, and the broader industry in the usage and benefits of light gauge steel framing in commercial and multi-residential buildings.

You will have the opportunity to work with our experienced and talented team and further enhance the team's capacity to grow as well as be part of an industry change and influence the way buildings are built into the future. **What Will You Do?**
- provide ongoing support to builders through ongoing education and technical support
- provide value-adding construction expertise during the design and construction phases of the build process
- closely liaise with design, construction and estimating personnel and internal/external trades to ensure the smooth transition to Light Gauge Steel framing whilst ensuring the use of proper construction techniques
- liaise with and facilitate the relationship between key stakeholders such as Light Gauge Steel fabricators, steel frame installation crews and project managers to ensure customer requirements and quality construction standards are met

**More About You**

You don't need to have experience with Light Gauge Steel framing, we can teach you this - what is important is your experience working in the commercial building industry and your experience leading on-site construction teams. In addition, you will bring:

- proven knowledge of common construction methodology and workflows
- effective communication skills to liaise with our customer's management, technical and trades teams.
- networking and influencing skills to build positive rapport and relationships with our customers.
- problem-solving ability and confidence to pre-empt any potential on-site challenges
- personal commitment to collaboration and teamwork
