We\'re excited by the fact our team is continuing to expand, and we\'re on the hunt for a Desktop Support Officer to join our team in Darwin to deliver high quality onsite technical support to our customers.
The role is full-time and will require you to be onsite.
Your role will be to provide friendly and knowledgeable support to customers with a positive, can-do attitude.
You will interact with a wide array of technology including mac and PCs, tablet devices, server systems, network infrastructure and voice platforms, although the bulk of server and network elements will be managed by our specialist teams.What you\'ll doEnsuring the smooth day to day operations of the customers operationsBe personable with end-users, developing a friendly bond with customersCollaborating with colleagues to determine processes that require improvement or can be handled more efficientlySeeking customer feedback on performance and taking an active approach to continuously improve resultsIdentifying problems or requests without existing processes and collaborating with peers to develop and implement themEnsuring documentation and procedures are up to dateTaking ownership of day-to-day technology issues and dealing with external 3rd party organisationsCollaborating with peers in other teams to ensure a successful outcome for the customerWhat you\'ll bringA passion for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrated by helping people fix technical issues with computers and other technology devicesA keen interest in technology and a strong desire to ensure that all technology is functioning optimally; willingness to learn new technology solutions and concepts to liaise with staff and external vendorsEffective communication skills when troubleshooting technical issues; ability to remain calm and articulate, providing clear explanations of problems and preventative measuresA positive attitude and can-do mindset, supported by a proven track record of helping others resolve technical issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with a wide range of stakeholdersFlexibility in handling unusual situations, such as staying back later or adjusting work schedules to accommodate unusual circumstancesBenefitsWhy You\'ll Love Working Here: Our company is a hub of inspiration and creativity where employees love to work.
