**The company**

Our client, IFM Investors, is one of the few truly aligned fund managers in the world. Along with their owners - 26 world-leading pension funds - and other like-minded investors, they believe in the power of bold, long-term and sustainable investment commitments and strategies that aim to deliver results, which ultimately enhance people's retirement outcomes. As an investor-owned fund manager, our client's primary focus is to deliver superior long-term net performance through quality portfolios that have a strong risk focus.

Their distinct ownership drives an alignment with investor objectives, a commitment to investing for the long term, and respect for labour rights, environmental and social responsibility.

**The role**

The ESG Reporting Manager will be responsible for assisting with reporting on a program of work across the growing, global ESG/RI function. This role will be accountable for project managing and co-ordinating internal reporting regarding ESG indicators and performance metrics, along with external signatory and membership reporting.

This role will provide guidance and engage with the other business units, including Investment teams, on reporting standards such as the EU's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

Additional applicable reporting frameworks include:

- Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
- Annual PRI Submission
- Annual TCFD Report
- Annual Modern Slavery Statement
- Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative Reporting
- Climate League 2030 progress reporting
- Provide oversight and guidance into SFDR Reporting - broadly across asset classes
- Assist with Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark Reporting (GRESB)

Additional role responsibilities include:

- Co-ordinate and provide ESG related IFM input/content into RFPs
- Co-ordinate the completion of client requests for data or information
- Assist with delivery of six-monthly Engagement and Voting Reports
- Undertake reviews of evolving investor expectations, policy direction, and peer reporting and make recommendations for improvement

**About you**

You bring strong project management skills and proven experience (in-house or as a consultant) assisting with delivery of best practice carbon footprint and climate change metrics reporting. You are across key reporting frameworks (both voluntary and mandatory) and can step into a role as a trusted advisor on forward-looking changes to these requirements.

In addition, you will possess:

- Background in Sustainability Reporting and previous experience reporting against key named frameworks (experience across all not mandatory).
- An ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively.
- Organisational skills to work rapidly and effectively to 'get things done'.
- Comfort working with a level of ambiguity and showing initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

**The rewards**

Our client fundamentally believes in the work that they do and the impact that they have. They provide people with the opportunity to learn, develop and experience new opportunities, whilst trying to make a positive difference in the community. This is a culture where employees respect each other and are passionate about the work they do for their members.
