Overview
Senior Project Engineer - Electrical role at UGL. Site-based DIDO/FIFO role for projects based across Australia. Join a growing New Energy team delivering solar, battery energy storage, wind, and related projects.
About the position on offer
It is the site-based DIDO/FIFO role for our projects based across Australia.
Responsibilities
Provide conceptual and detailed engineering of the project's HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical balance of plant (BOP).
Assist in the preparation of forecasts and constructability of projects.
Supervise commissioning activities with the site commissioning teams.
Develop ITP and work packs for Electrical installation work packages.
Check electrical works, test sheets, and sign-off ITPs at completion of works.
Assist the Project Manager with compliance to the documentation required under the UGL Management System.
Your skills and experience
Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in an Electrical discipline.
Leadership ability and demonstrative experience in project management.
Substantial experience in HV electrical systems or worked on renewable/utilities projects.
Proven experience with the supervision of technical staff.
Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies.
