About The Role
We are excited to announce that we have two casual Bulk Production Operator positions available at our Lagoon St Site.
Our Lagoon Street site is situated in the Bega Valley Shire and is the original site of Bega Cheese. Located on the beautiful Sapphire coast, far south coast of NSW, Lagoon Street is still producing Australia's favourite cheese products - cheddar cheese, string cheese as well as butter.
Reporting to the Unit Lead, this role ensures that all Production functions are carried out effectively, efficiently, and timely and delivers products safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with mínimal waste in the correct quantity when required.
Responsibilities- Operating production machines and performing changeover processes.- Working effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime- Reporting safety incidents and maintenance requirements- Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards- Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures
About you- Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is preferred.- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential.- Ability to work independently.- Safety mindset and Problem-solving skills.- A forklift licence is good to have
