Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced B Double Driver to join our team. This role involves operating in the bulk haulage sector, transporting goods across Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and efficient long distance operation, adhering to all relevant safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Navigate vehicles for loading and unloading of bulk commodities, prioritizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Perform regular checks on equipment, undertake minor maintenance as required, and report any concerns or maintenance needs to the operations manager promptly.
  • Operate within MASS load restraint limits, ensuring goods are secure to prevent loss or damage.
  • Accurately record daily activities and manage load records using MyTrucking.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid MC licence.
  • Possess a minimum 12 months MC experience with a clean driving history.
  • Provide a recent 2-year traffic history report.
  • Hold a current Fitness to Drive Certificate.
  • Be willing to obtain BFM Certification through us or hold existing certification.
  • Pass a pre-employment heavy vehicle medical check, drug and alcohol test, and driving assessment.
