**The Role**
Based in Perth, the QA Manager is responsible to support the business in all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Control including Document Control. Working with the HSEQ Manager and Quality Team to provide advice, ensure business compliance to 9001 and relevant KPI's.
This role is predominantly to provide QA framework strategies and manage a team of professionals for the Pacific Energy Renewables (PER) facilities and project sites.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The Quality Assurance Managers duties include but are not limited to:
- Ongoing maintenance and new strategies for the Quality Management System in accordance with relevant certification standards and procedures.
- Providing advice and support for all functions to ensure compliance to ISO 9001, applicable statutory, regulatory requirements and standards.
- Identify and achieve relevant KPI's.
- Overseeing the Quality team including Document Control, using coaching, developing, delegation and recognition to ensure they have the capability to meet performance goals.
- Identify issues and risks through internal, external, and third-party audits and develop Quality Improvement Plans.
- Managing inputs and analysing data to improve quality.
- Provide advice and assistance as requested for all Quality matters.
- Staying current on laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Establishing and implementing the quality standards for products or services.
- Support the team by providing technical expertise to minimise production stoppages and meet targets.
- Drive continuous improvement and manage change in the manufacturing line by identifying systemic production issues, troubleshooting and advising the production team on technical processes.
- Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork.
- Ensuring compliance with Pacific Energy Renewables HSEQ, policies and procedures.
**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- 2 years' experience in relevant field favourable
- Strong comprehension of engineering principles
- The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed.
- The ability to remain professional in pressure situations.
- Software development experience, accompanying excellent computer proficiency.
- Understand objectives and work well both autonomously and within a team environment
- Understanding of QA and OSHE requirements
