Payroll Officer Based in Macquarie Park

**Your new company**

Your new company is a Christian school based in Macquarie Park. You will be joining a close-knit finance team who regularly take lunch together. My client is looking for a payroll officer who can fit in the team in accordance with their Christian values and mission. The payroll is currently outsourced, and they are looking for an individual who has proven experience in end-to-end payroll.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, benefits, taxes and deductions.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience as a payroll officer, payroll clerk or similar role in a medium to large organisation
- Knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and accounting principles
- Proficiency in payroll software, preferably precede
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks
- Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of our school
