**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for an experienced Operations Leader to optimise retail performance of our 150 operating sites within New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory. As the Regional Manager you will drive growth of existing and new retail formats within EG store operations, and will importantly build and promote capability standards for both our People and Operations that directly impact the customer experience in everything we do.

Reporting directly to the National Retail Operations Manager you will:

- Draw upon your deep operational understanding of store and market level P&L drivers to deliver market performance across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory regions
- Skillfully execute retail initiatives, promotional programs and customer offers across your Region in partnership with our Commercial support teams
- Drive compliance initiatives that support the wellbeing and safety of our people, customers and assets and drive continuous improvement to maintain statutory and regulatory compliance
- Identify opportunities to increase and improve the Customer experience and offer
- Develop workforce resourcing plans, including pathways and a talent pipeline for the region
- Promote leadership and development by actively developing people from store level onwards, coaching, engaging and motivating your team
- Implement operational, management processes, systems and practices
- Execute strategic projects and change as required
- Analyse performance data and metrics and govern cost control by imparting a business owner mindset and ability to deliver cost efficiencies

- Proven leadership experience gained within Petrol and/or Convenience that has shaped your understanding of market and competitor activity, local community and customer demographics
- Ability to work cross functionally bringing a collaborative approach and multiple perspective to improve store experience
- Strong analytical capability to identify trends, problem solve and make informed decisions
- Build credible relationships, engaging as one team in the way we work together
