**Application Support Team Lead**

**We will count on you to**:

- Allocate tasks to team members and effectively manage team members' workload, commitments and responsibilities
- Act as technical reference to the team in complex troubleshooting activities
- Liaise with the other IT Functional teams to ensure that appropriate guidelines and documentations are established for the operational support of new/changed services
- Manage relationships and co-ordinate work between different teams at different locations and/or organisations
- Act as a cultural change agent and provide support to the IT leadership team by championing the adoption of IT best practice processes
- Ensures all relevant implementation, support, and change management processes are adhered to
- Periodically review Configuration Items in CMDB to ensure records are updated with Server Changes, Application Changes, and contain accurate/up to date information
- Arrange communication on software/hardware issues and resolution updates
- Support all local and global IT project and initiatives
- Research best practices and educate team as needed
- Guide, train and mentor new employees and less experienced staff

**What you need to have**:

- Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science or relevant field
- 5+ years' experience in the financial services industry, with experience in Superannuation and Wealth management administration and advantage
- Management experience in a multi-national organisation and virtual team environment
- ITIL Foundation Certifications
- General knowledge of networking, Windows/Unix Server/OS, Active Directory, switches/routers, firewalls and VDI
- Knowledge and experiences working in DNS, Firewall, SSL, redirects, and related operations
- SQL queries/scripting; Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, asp.net, ODBC, JDBC
- Project/Release management experience
- Outcome driven with adherence to deadlines and legislative requirements
- Ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision
- Strong self-motivation, client focus, and professionalism with the ability to use your own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
