About this opportunity :
Our McDowall store is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking leader to join and help manage the bakery department.
Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this role involves managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes, and more.
In this dynamic supermarket environment, successful applicants will demonstrate:
Fresh food retail knowledge (preferred but not essential)
Leadership and team management skills
Ability to order and control costs
Understanding of gross profit calculations
Accurate team rostering
Passion, enthusiasm, and a hands-on approach
Exceptional customer service commitment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise effectively with team members and management
Merchandising flair
Strong leadership and delegation skills
Coaching, training, and performance management abilities
Commitment to work health and safety standards
