An excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated Registered Nurse to use their clinical knowledge and skills as a Floor Clinical Coordinator at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a full-time position.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Floor Clinical Coordinator plays an integral role in the smooth running of the Theatre Complex. Your leadership qualities will incorporate a creative and innovative approach to ensure efficient and cost effective management of human and material resources. Outstanding customer service to THE patients and VMOs is a key focus.
This position offers leadership and management opportunities and a great platform for advancing leadership skills towards Deputy Theatre Manager or Perioperative Service Manager roles.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Minimum 5 years of postgraduate operating room experience;
- Postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Proven leadership ability;
- Proven interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- Previous management experience (desirable);
- Working towards tertiary management qualification (desirable).
**ABOUT THE FACILITY**
The hospital, located in Sydney, is one of the largest private hospitals in NSW, providing an extensive range of surgical and medical services. The hospital has 277 beds, and the Operating Theatre complex has 16 theatres, 32 first-stage recovery bays, and additional 32-second stage chairs. The specialities include General (including laparoscopic), Colorectal, Bariatric, Orthopaedic, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Plastics, Paediatric, Oral & Dental Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmic, Gastroenterology, Neurosurgery, Urology, and Vascular surgery.
