Theatre Floor Coordinator

Our hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Floor Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

As a Theatre Floor Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating all aspects of theatre operations, including scheduling, inventory management and equipment maintenance;
  • Providing expert guidance and mentoring to staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality patient care;
  • Building strong relationships with staff, patients and families to promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Key qualifications and skills required for this role include:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
  • A minimum of 3 years clinical perioperative experience;
  • Ability to cover PM shifts and work flexibly to meet the needs of the department;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and prioritize workloads.
