About the Opportunity

The HRBP - International Development Programs is a key business partner for our program teams operating in the East Asia & Pacific Region.

The HRBP role will work with business managers and leaders across our programs in the EA&P region to solve people and cultural issues and to provide expertise across technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination, performance management, rewards, etc, with particular focus on our program operations.

The role will support and advise programs teams from pre-mobilisation through to program closure and will work closely with our global Centres of Expertise (COEs) to communicate the business value of HR initiatives and manage the roll out of these initiatives across programs.

The **HRBP - International Development Programs **will be responsible for:

- Provide coaching, HR technical guidance and counsel to programs teams on matters at the intersect of business and HR.
- Effectively coach program leaders in matters related to people, HR processes, employment practices, HR programs, and the corresponding impact of these on the business.
- Act as a conduit for representing and sharing program stakeholder needs.
- Support the HRBP Director with the globalisation and standardisation of our employee lifecycle processes and procedures at the program level.
- Support Abt's strategic objectives and facilitate the roll out and adoption of HR organisational wide initiatives, staff development and staff engagement strategies at the program level.
- Support the HRBP Director in workforce planning, talent reviews and succession planning initiatives at the program level.
- Some international travel across region (10-15%)

About You

We are seeking an individual who will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources; Business; Management, or a related business discipline.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in generalist HR roles with a excellent knowledge of progressive HR strategies and practices, including strong performance management and employee relations experience, ideally within similar sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining highly effective stakeholder relationships, establishing a reputation for being a trusted advisor and business partner.
- Experience of working within a shared service HR model alongside COE teams.
- Adept at project management and implementation of HR initiatives in matrixed global organisations
- Client/Customer focussed, highly skilled communicator and High-level coaching skills at team and individual levelHow to Apply
