Our client is seeking a Functional Tester to join their growing team for a 6-month contract opportunity. You will work on
** a **Financial Crimes and Fraud project, moving a from an old unsupported platform to a new monitoring capability platform.

You will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of test plans and their associated activities. You will be responsible for specialised system and E2E testing as well as for the coordination of testing related activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review requirements and contribute to the development of the Test plans to perform system integration testing
- Estimate test efforts and be able to prioritise tasks
- Develop test cases based on the requirements and specifications
- Identify test data requirements and support efforts to generate test data
- Perform system integration and regression testing
- Identify and report defects/issues and support defect triage/management activities
- Support UAT testers/SMEs to perform their test execution and reporting tasks
- Prepare test completion/summary reports

**Skills**:

- End to end life cycle experience - SIT, UAT, Regression, Post Verification Testing.
- Hands on experience with test automation
- Expertise in Backend Testing, Data Warehouse Testing and
BI/SSRS Report Testing.
- Experience in API testing
- Hands on experience with JIRA

**Desirable**:

- Superannuation experience - with knowledge of superannuation fund regulations and provisions.
- Working on Agile projects
