**Introduction**:
The suburb of Ashgrove is famous for its beautiful, traditional 'timber and tin' colonial and post-war homes. The centre's location has allowed us the opportunity to pay homage to this character architecture and develop an extension to the existing Queenslander to create Green Leaves Early Learning Ashgrove Cottage.
Our small, boutique centre caters for just 54 children and is located on a quiet and peaceful street in Ashgrove.
At dropoff, families are offered freshly baked goods and a barista coffee to take away or enjoy in the parent lounge.
Downstairs you'll find our Nursery Room, while upstairs we have our Toddler and Kindergarten room which each feature their own outdoor play space.
We currently have a music program for all of our three learning hubs. Music is educationally enriching for all ages, as it provides multiple opportunities for children to develop neural pathways on both sides of their brains. Through music, children explore literacy, numeracy, mathematics and self-express. This is just one of the many incursions we have at the centre.
In this role, you can use your passion and enthusiasm for early learning in helping to make work play, creating a sense of belonging for all, embracing differences, and creating opportunities for our team to choose their own adventure.
About the role
- Passion for quality care and support of children's growth and development
- Motivated to support your Room Leader to meet our quality principles of curriculum and documentation
- Work 1-on-1 supporting children with Inclusion Support alongside other Educators
- Proven experience in inclusion support and have assisted in setting up, facilitating, and cleaning down activities
- Collaborative team player, receptive to feedback and reflective on best practice
- Pride in the room being presented immaculately as a welcoming and safe environment
- Work set shifts, 5 Days a week.
- Guide educators to understand the specific needs of individual children and how they can help support the child better as well as support children to integrate

**Qualifications**:

- ACECQA-approved Cert III or Diploma qualification in Educational Support or equivalent
- Current QLD Blue Card / Working with Children's Check
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
- Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain one
