OverviewGlobal Mobility, Senior Advisor - APAC at GHD.GHD has an immediate opportunity for a Global Mobility Senior Advisor - APAC.
This position will manage and oversee full lifecycle international workforce transitions, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the employee experience across borders.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively manage Global Expatriate Management Cycle with strong partnerships with People Business PartnersProactively engage with active assignees for engagement and regular connectionsDevelop and maintain effective key stakeholder relationships globallyProactively identify and mitigate risks in all areas of Global Mobility (immigration matters, employer taxes, relocation management)Pre-assessment management – consultation with business leaders on the purpose of the move, completion of cost projections, collaboration with People team on talent profile of candidateProvide subject matter expertise and consult with key stakeholders (People and Talent Acquisition teams, Business leaders, Finance/Payroll teams, Legal) as it relates to Global Mobility Standards interpretation for long-Term and Short-Term International Assignments, Permanent Relocations, External International Hires, Project Workers and Frequent Business TravelersProvide regular and relevant insights on Global Mobility trendsMain point of contact for APAC Immigration related matters for international moves to and within the APAC regionWork closely with the Global Mobility Leader on immigration and relocation operational program enhancements and projectsSupport in guiding the People, Talent Acquisition teams and Business on all Global Mobility related mattersWhat you will bringEducation: Bachelor\'s degree holder, Master\'s degree preferred (but not a requirement)Experience:General Experience: Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (8 years and above); Managerial Experience not required (Individual Contributor)Extensive background in all aspects of Global Mobility (immigration, tax, payroll, mobilizations / assignment on international projects, entire assignment lifecycle, relocation management and third-party provider coordination)Experience in handling inter-country transfers across Asia Pacific Region (APAC)Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and responsiveness to dynamic business environmentsProvide expert guidance to employees, managers, and HR partners on global mobility programs, policy compliance, and strategic talent mobilityExcellent communication skills to provide guidance and advice to diverse stakeholdersInitiative-driven, proactive and autonomous workerAmenable to work on schedule that would support APAC region but would directly report to lead based in Canada (Mid-shift to overlap from APAC/ US Time)How to applyInterested?
