**Ward Clerk - Emergency**

**About the Role**

Peel Health Campus is seeking proactive and customer-focused **Emergency Department Clerks** to join our fast-paced team that currently provides a 24-hour service to over 45,000 patients per year. As the first point of contact for our patients and their families you will strive to deliver an exceptional customer service experience for all.

Joining our multidisciplinary team of professionals, this opportunity will see you liaising with Medical and Nursing staff and providing comprehensive customer focussed service whilst being responsible for administrative duties to all aspects of the Emergency Department.

**About You**
- Prior experience in a similar role within a hospital setting will be highly regarded and experience using EDIS and Meditech is highly advantageous
- Experience in Healthcare / Medical Admin
- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes and prioritise workload
- Strong keyboard and computer skills using the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay's core values

Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster that includes weekends, nights and public holidays is essential to this role.
