**About the role (previous applicants encouraged to re-apply)**

The Quality Manager is a key role in the business and leads the quality team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will use your combination of analytical skills, strong communication and team based approach to help this growing business.

**Your key responsibilities will be to ensure**:

- Timely acceptance of raw materials then the release of manufactured products that conform to specifications
- Ensures overall adherence to specifications, corporate & local testing methods and procedures
- Continuous control and calibration of testing equipment
- Strong support and cooperation with Production
- Proactive co-operation with Production with Corporate Departments, in particular form a close relationship with R&D

**Your formal qualifications**
- Technical qualifications, degree preferred
- Background working within a **chemical manufacturing and/or batch manufacturing environment** is very highly regarded

**Your management experience**:

- Experience leading a team, likely of 3-10 people
- Personally can make quick decisions, but are also a very strong collaborator
- You enjoy developing employees
- You are hands-on, and also have the ability to effectively delegate
